The aim of the conference was to share and discuss the latest unpublished advances in Thymus and T-cell biology. Topics covered included thymus organogenesis, T-cell selection, development of lymphoid and stromal populations within the thymus, T-cell-mediated self-tolerance, peripheral T-cell responses, T-cell metabolism, T-cell-based immunotherapies, and aging.<\/p><p>She came to present her topic and results. Her study aims to assess the impact of CK1 on T helper cell function and response.<\/p><p>T helper (Th) cells are crucial for maintaining body homeostasis. Dysregulation of Th cells can lead to autoimmune diseases, allergic reactions, and transplant rejection. Casein kinase 1 (CK1) family members, which are serine\/threonine kinases, phosphorylate key molecules in T cell signaling pathways.
