New publication: Therapeutic activity and biodistribution of a nano-sized polymer-dexamethasone conjugate intended for the targeted treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
A new publication, authored by Daniela Rubanová, focuses on the research of nanocarriers based on biocompatible N-(2-hydroxypropyl) methacrylamide copolymers, that can potentially be applied as carriers of doxymethanosn, which is used for the therapy of rheumatoid arthritis. Dexamethasone conjugate showed a dose-dependent therapeutic effect on arthritis and better therapeutic results compared to free dexamethasone.
The publication was based on the collaboration with the research team of Associate Professor Etrych from the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
