After many years together in our laboratory, it is time to say adieu to Mgr. Marek Černík, Ph.D. Marek worked under the supervision of Mgr. Jan Víteček, Ph.D. and his work was focused on the research of endothelial cells and the impact of shear stress in microfluidic chips. He also studied the Hippo pathway. 

Marek will continue his scientific career and will start as a postdoc in department of Mechanobiology and Tissue Engineering under supervision of Hans Van Oosterwyck in KU Leuven Univerzity, Belgium. 

As a gift, he received a back pack with a print that represents things he relates to or likes. (3rd photo).
