Farewell with our colleague Peťa Daďová
And here we have another farewell. This time we said goodbye to our colleague Petra Daďová, who started her postdoc career at the National Institute of Molecular Genetics (INGM) in Milan. In the Autoimmunity lab, under the supervision of Prof. Jens Geginat, she will participate in the project titled “Molecular Properties of Single Antigen-Specific T Cells in Rheumatoid Arthritis.”
Peťa’s research in our laboratory focused on adenylyl cyclases (ACs) and their role in the synthesis of cyclic adenosine 3’,5’-monophosphate (cAMP). Additionally, the research investigated the impact of FSK-mediated cAMP elevation on the differentiation of T helper (Th) cell subsets, revealing insights into potential new therapeutic targets for Th cell-related immune disorders.
With Peťa, we lost the queen of the coffee fund and co-organizer of major leisure activities in the lab – barbecues, external seminars, volleyball, ice skating, badminton, and paddleboarding.
We will miss Peťa a lot and wish her all the best in Italy.
