Farewell with our colleague Danča Rubanová
After many years as a valued member of our laboratory, we are saying goodbye to our colleague Danča Rubanová, who has successfully completed her PhD and is embarking on a new chapter in her scientific career. She has joined the Center for Translational Biomedical Iron Research at Heidelberg University Hospital, Germany, as a postdoctoral researcher.
During her doctoral studies, Danča focused on the development of innovative nanomedicine approaches for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Her research explored HPMA-based polymer drug delivery systems and intravenous hyaluronan as strategies to improve targeted drug delivery, reduce systemic side effects, and alleviate inflammation in experimental models of autoimmune disease. Her work contributed to a better understanding of nanocarrier-based therapies for inflammatory disorders.
We sincerely thank Danča for her dedication, enthusiasm, and many valuable contributions to our research team. We wish her every success in her postdoctoral position and look forward to following her future scientific achievements.
